My name is Baiheng WU
& I'm a researcher
in maritime operations
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of ICT and Natural Science (IIR), Norwegian University of Science and Technolgy (NTNU), Campus i Ă…lesund, Norway. My postdoctoral research mainly associates with research project
SAFE Maritime Autonomous TEchnology (SAFEMATE) funded by the Research Council of Norway.
My research interests are in scope of human factors and human-in-the-loop topics in maritime operations (specifically on maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS)) and transportation systems, by means of cybernetics theories and technologies, including artificial intelligence & machine learning, sensor fusion, data mining, GNC (guidance, navigation, and control), etc. My research interests also extend to fluid-structure interaction, specifically experiment-based vortex-induced vibration (VIV).
